In the fall of 2020, after rethinking service delivery to reopen an academic library during the pandemic, I began a journey to becoming a leadership coach. When I began the Leadership Coaching for Organizational Wellbeing coaching certificate at George Mason University, I could not have imagined where taking that step forward would take me. Today I am an embedded leadership coach in a large organization, working with an amazing team of coaches. There have been some detours along the way, each one teaching me something about human beings, the world of work, and about myself. I am learning to embrace uncertainty for the possibilities and growth within it.
